we only screen the very best 8-12 masterpieces from around the world

each shot on a single roll of super 8mm with no editing, no-one will have seen these films on the night - including the filmmakers themselves

filmmakers and festival goers will get a second chance to see the films at an illicit, late night screening with cannes in a van

their infamous yellow transit will rock up outside our post-screening drinks venue and project the straight 8 ‘crème de la cannes’ selection one last time

anyone who can’t make it to the screening, can watch the event live online at dailymotion.com/straight8productions. it'll go live at 8pm (french time), exactly the same moment as in cannes. the playlist will be removed after the screening, so you need to be quick
